1. The Reference’s Role
Glendale Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections concerning people who live or once lived in Glendale, California. Government records are not hosted here, and there is no affiliation with a government office, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use the pages and anything reached through them only for lawful purposes. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make a credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decision
- Scrape, reproduce, or republish the content at scale
- Disrupt the reference’s operation or security
3. No Consumer Reports
Glendale Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither the material here nor a result returned by a linked search tool is a consumer report. It must not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
4. Third-Party Destinations
Government portals and other services, including sponsored search tools, operate under separate terms and privacy rules. Glendale Residents Directory is not responsible for an outside destination’s content, availability, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranty
The reference is supplied “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Accuracy, completeness, current coverage, and continued operation of a linked portal are not promised.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of these pages or an outside resource, including a decision made from a record located through them.
7. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that results from misuse of the reference or a violation of these terms.
8. Copyright and Attribution
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short excerpt with credit is welcome. Republishing complete pages or systematically copying the content is not.
9. Revisions
A revised version may be posted here at any time. Continued use after the revision is posted means the updated terms are accepted.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms or abuses the reference. That action may be taken at the operators’ discretion and without advance notice.
11. California Law
California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record references are informed by the California Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000 et seq., while personal-data requests may implicate the California Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §1798.100 et seq., as amended by the CPRA. Those statutes do not make this private reference a custodian of government records.
12. Severability
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Contact About These Terms
